FEIR

Build your references before you need them.

Serious hiring still comes down to a reference call, made without you in the room. FEIR lets you collect those answers ahead of time, from the managers and colleagues who actually know your work, and keep them from one job to the next.

The best time to ask is when nobody is checking you out

When you leave a job, everything is still there: precise memories, working email addresses, goodwill. Two years later, your manager has changed companies and the project has been rewritten in everyone's head; your request lands as a favour asked of a stranger.

A reference collected when you leave records what you did while it's still sharp. And because no job is at stake at that moment, it wasn't written to please a future employer. That is exactly what a recruiter cannot obtain on their own.

More than a thumbs-up on a skill

A LinkedIn endorsement says “Project Management”, and nothing else. A FEIR reference says who is speaking, in what role, over which period, what that person confirms of what you declared, and how they answered specific questions. Context is what makes it credible.

Your credibility stops resetting to zero

Changing employers currently resets the counter: years of work stay behind in the memory of an organisation you're leaving. Your FEIR references travel with you. Collected while relationships are fresh, kept throughout your career, shared the day an opportunity shows up.

How it works

You invite former managers and colleagues. They answer in about five minutes, with no account to create, and they keep control of their answer. The reference is verified, and you can't edit it: that's why it gets believed. You then share it through a link whose duration and recipients you choose.

Three honest questions

Can I ask my current manager?
You ask whoever you want, whenever you want. Many people prefer the end of a job or a project: the request is natural there, with no possible ulterior motive. Nothing is urgent, except people's memory.
Will a recruiter accept pre-written references?
Some will keep their phone call. But they'll read you first, and a document where the scope is confirmed by the person who was there says more than a CV. At minimum, you walk into the interview with attested facts instead of claims.
What does a future employer see?
Only what you shared: the references you selected, who is speaking, in what role, over which period, with the Verified mark when the answer came from a work email. What “verified” means

Memories fade faster than careers

Today's colleagues are tomorrow's references. Ask them while everything is fresh.
