Your professional references belong to you.
FEIR collects them from the clients, managers and colleagues you've worked with, verifies them, and lets you decide who sees them.

Example
Camille Rivoal
Data consultant
6 references collected
Reference from T. Berthier, CIO · client, 2023 to 2024
Verified· work email on the company's domain
“Camille took over the billing pipeline at a point where nobody else would touch it. Of the six missions she lists, I can confirm five.”
Everyone has a polished résumé now.
Anyone can produce an impeccable CV in ten minutes, and recruiters know it. The value has moved to what a third party states about you, in writing, knowing you won't be able to edit a word of it.
That is what FEIR structures. Every reference says who is speaking, in what role, on which engagement and over which period. The scope you declare is confirmed, qualified or left unconfirmed by the person who was there. And nothing that was answered can be rewritten afterwards.
From end of engagement to shareable link
- 01
You invite the people who saw you work. A former client, a manager, a colleague: you choose who, and you write the note that goes with the request.
- 02
They answer in about five minutes, with no account to create. The questionnaire is guided, there are at most two reminders, and they keep control of their answer.
- 03
The reference gets verified: the Verified badge attests the answer came from a work email, on the domain of the company named. And the answers stay out of your reach: nothing can be rewritten. What “verified” means
- 04
You share it when it matters. One link, chosen recipients. You decide what appears, and nothing that appears could have been retouched.
Where FEIR helps first
You sell your services. Your former clients are your strongest sales argument, provided a prospect can actually read them. Collect at the end of each engagement, attach the link to your proposals.
You're employed. By the time you're looking, your former managers will have changed jobs and half the details will have faded. Collect while it's fresh, keep it throughout your career.
What the people you ask actually experience
They receive a single email that states plainly the request comes from you. The questionnaire takes five minutes and requires no account. After two reminders, FEIR stops asking. Anyone can edit or delete their answer at any time, and their address is used for the reference and nothing else. Data is hosted in Europe.
Your relationship is what's at stake. The product is built not to damage it.
Frequently asked questions
- What is FEIR?
- FEIR is a service that lets professionals collect references from the people they have worked with, have them verified, and decide who sees them. Collection works best at the end of a collaboration, while details are fresh and no immediate stakes weigh on the answers.
- How is a FEIR reference different from a LinkedIn recommendation?
- It says who wrote it, in what role, on which engagement and over which period. The declared scope is confirmed or qualified by the person who was there. And the beneficiary cannot edit a word of it. A LinkedIn recommendation offers none of those guarantees, and the person receiving one chooses whether to display it.
- Does the person recommending me need an account?
- No. They receive a link by email and answer in about five minutes. That is a design principle: no friction is added on the side of the person doing you a favour.
- How much does it cost?
- Collecting is free, with no limit, and will stay free. Advanced sharing options will become paid later.
- Who sees my references?
- Nobody, until you share something. You create a link reserved for the recipients you choose.
